Unpacking and repacking everything at the Menschels the night before I left for SAS.

Two little boys in Nassau who offered to sing to me for $1. They promised they'd be singing a native song, but that only lasted about 2 measures before they broke into "Jesus Loves Me."

My first time off the ship I took off for a little walk on my own to this fort and water tower above the city. This canon was pointing directly at the ship.

On our way back to the ship Chris and I stumbled across this festival where the Bahamians were doing some fire dancing and Junkanoo which is a traditional dance. Photo by Chris Bolin.

Chris, who claims that he has no sense of rhythm and will never dance, got dragged up on the stage to shake his bootie with the fire dancer.

Beth, Krista, Sony, and I went back to the pier where Chris and I had been the night before so we could swim with the locals and Sony could get some good video footage.
